The Mission of "Bright Spots" is to present an encouraging word to a discouraging world.

Since 1994 over 30,000 "Bright Spots" have aired.

A four year old boy was asked to give the blessing for their Christmas dinner.  All the family members bowed their heads and waited for him to pray. 

He began by thanking God for mommy, daddy, brother, sister, granddad and granny.  He thanked God for the turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, the pies and cakes, even the coolwhip.

Then he paused and looked at his mother and asked, "If I thank God for broccoli, won't He know I am lying?"
